The Collaborative for Professional Clinical Development has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7281. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. The Collaborative for Professional Clinical Development is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Our Vision
We intend to provide a new approach to continuing education nationally by developing a well-designed and completely integrated best practices program, with each component building on and expanding what has been learned before. This will create a cumulative learning effect, and will elevate the clinical knowledge, skills and tools of our trainees more quickly and more directly to true mastery in the field of mental health. Each program will provide trainees with a carefully designed and selected array of best practices resources: tools, references, and handouts, including best practices forms and templates, that will further contribute to the development of each trainee and enhance their professional practice.

Louis Boynton, PhD, LPC President, Flourish2Live

Dr. Louis Boynton Ph.D., LPC is a graduate of the doctoral program at the University of West Georgia. He has worked as a researcher and project manager for the state of Georgia’s disaster mental health website and as a mental health emergency room psychological and intake assessor for six years. He currently works as a clinician in private practice. He has designed online courses and developed in person classes for 8 years and has presented papers at several national and international conferences, and in 2011 was awarded the Humanistic Psychologist Award at the University of West Georgia.as a doctoral student. Dr. Boynton has served as the ethics chair for the Western division of the Licensed Professional Counseling Association.

Charles Safford, LCSW is the President and owner of yourceus.com, Inc., a company that develops and markets web-based and live continuing education training for mental health clinicians on a nationwide basis. Mr. Safford has been developing and delivering innovative training programs since 2001, when he merged his training and therapy skills to create yourceus.com, Inc., a company that teaches and trains mental health clinicians on a nationwide basis, offering both live and web-based programs encompassing the best and most recent knowledge and skills in the field of mental health. Mr. Safford has served as a clinician in private practice since 1990.
Mary Margaret Hill, LPC President, MMH Professional Counseling, LLC
Mary Margaret Hill LPC is the founder and director for MMH Professional Counseling LLC, a mental health & wellness practice specializing in trauma, grief & loss, and spirituality. She offers over 20 years of clinical experience & expertise to her clients and colleagues. Mary Margaret has been an advocate for the counseling profession for over 20 years culminating in her role as Legislative Chair for the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia. Her advocacy helped ensure the passage of "Privilege Communication" for (LPC's, LCSW's and MAFT's), and her leadership as chair lead to the passage of a two-tiered licensing structure for professional counselors which strengthened the profession of counseling in Georgia and increased the number of counselors from diverse backgrounds providing therapy in Georgia. Mary Margaret has also throughout her career provided consultation and training for various Fortune 500 companies in the US and Canada.. In addition to a full-time practice and speaking engagements Mary Margaret is currently working on a book regarding early advocacy in Georgia for licensed counselors.
